Since opening Serendipity in July 2007, our lives have changed dramatically. After a visit to Uganda with the charity ACE, we realised we had to contribute something to try and reduce global poverty. As a result, Serendipity was born.
Why Serendipity? Well the word means fate, karma, happy accident. As everything just fell into place, it just seemed like Serendipity in action and the name stuck.
What do we do?
We buy and sell Fair Trade items. Loads of stuff you might not expect to be able to but fairly. Clothes - of course, but also jewellery, carvings, masks, incense, lamps, mirrors, gifts of all sorts. The list goes on!
